In the first part of the talk, I will survey some known results related to Siegel’s Theorem, Zero-Free regions and illusory conclusions based on the hypothetical existence of Landau-Siegel zeros. In the second part of the talk, I will discuss some recent joint work with Jesse Thorner and Alexandru Zaharescu on conditional refinements of the Siegel-Tatuzawa theorem.
